FINALLY: The secret to a fulfilling life. It's not more money, it's not more time, it's not even a good relationship, although all of these are indeed important. It's in stopping your self-sabotage - the key to achievement and happiness.

A fulfilling life is deceptively simple: - to achieve what you really want. Yet it’s not going to come without investing both time and money to overcome your self-sabotage and reduce your stress.

"If Positive Thinking and the Law
of Attraction isn't Doing It for you, here's What's Happening - and
What to Do about It"

  • Does Your Life Satisfy You?
  • Do You Have the Time As Well As the Money to Enjoy Yourself?
  • Right Now, Today, Are You Truly Happy?

Most people prefer being happy. So we spend most of our time doing what brings us gratification. Life just isn't so good when you're feeling down or unhappy. And we generally think that more money will make us happier.

There's definitely some truth here, I've been rich, and I've been poor, and rich is undeniably better! Yet there's also some truth to the statement that money can't buy you happiness, even though it does remove some of the obstacles.

One big obstacle is time. There just isn't enough! You spend your time doing this, doing that, doing the other, and probably think that more doing will bring you more happiness. And again there's some truth here.

But, like everybody, you have just twenty-four hours a day. Spending your time wisely is obviously vital. So not wasting time on what does not work for you is even more important than not wasting money!

Yet many if not most Internet web-sites assume that money brings happiness. Then they promise you will make lots of money, or eliminate stress completely, or get you whatever you want if you just sign up with them!

And they frequently suggest you can do it without much if any effort, because they know you are short of time, as well as money. So they promise you:
  • Results "in just 12 minutes flat"

  • "Plug in the simple auto-pilot marketing plan and make deposits into your bank account"

  • Unbelievable results that are "automatic"

  • "huge (and immediate) cash-flow"

  • "Create wealth effortlessly"

  • "simple, easy and fast way to … make a dream life"
Let's face it, if it was so easy, everybody would be both rich and happy. You and I both know this is simply not the case, which is why such marketing may look good initially but only fools the real fools.

The key to success is simple - to put your energy into what works, rather than what doesn't work. You're not gullible, you know that success takes time as well as energy. When properly applied, your time and your energy are the ingredients for success.

Yet when you put your energy into what doesn't work, rather than what does, then you're being ineffective, you're spinning your wheels.

Pursuing illusion rather than truth simply wastes time and since time is money, you're indulging in self-sabotage. You can learn to stop your self-sabotage. This is the direct result of investing in our cutting edge, truly innovative program.

When you stop your self-sabotage, you become more effective and free up time - which gives you more time!

What's Stopping You Enjoying Life to The Fullest?

Do you think you need to …
  • Have more money to enjoy life to the fullest?

  • Your boss, or your work need to change so you can stop worrying?

  • You should have been born smarter?

  • Your partner, or your children need to shape up then you'll not be so stressed out?

  • You wish you had a better education?
Most people blame their outside circumstances for their inner unhappiness. You need things to change so you can enjoy life. Right?

Wrong!

You don't need any of these things. And that's good news. Really good news!

Since these are all things which are not under your direct control, to need them would mean you'd have no power to change your circumstances. So you'll be delighted to see that these aren't the things that are stopping you.

Then what is?

YOU!

Or, rather, your self-sabotage mechanism - which loves wasting your time.

From Cris Baker
Monday, 10.45 am

Dear Friend,

It's a warm summer's day here in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa. I'm wearing shorts and the forecast is for continued sun-shine.

Maybe I'll go to the beach this afternoon, although a walk on Table Mountain and the amazing views over the ocean can be inspiring. The forests on the slopes of Table Mountain would be cooler, and the shady streams are absolutely gorgeous...

But it hasn't always been this way.

Although I started out in the special honors Mathematics program at University, the highest level available, I eventually graduated with a pass degree - the lowest. Apparently if you manage to stick it out to the end, they think you deserve at least some sort of recognition. For persistence?

I've been fired five times, including the time I was handed the pink slip before I even started work. I've blown more relationships than I've changed my shorts, and each blunder yet again emphasized that mistakes are not something I enjoy. Unwittingly, I've become very experienced at failure. I'm an expert!

You have a self-sabotage mechanism, I have a self-sabotage mechanism, we all have an ssm. And its job is to bring you what you don't want. This is one of life's enigmas. The results of self-sabotage are definitely undesirable, yet getting what you don't want is not wrong, it's just, er… undesirable.

As you learn to stop self-sabotaging yourself, you stress less, your life contains less unwanted consequences and you have more time to enjoy what you do want in life.

So if you want the extra time that doing this will bring, then are you ready to start?

If you are ready to stop your self-sabotage right now, give me the next ten minutes and read all this page carefully. Notice I didn't say, "if you want to start now," because self-sabotage often negatively influences what you want. I've stopped asking myself if I want to go and exercise, the answer is always no! I just go anyway.

The Time to Enjoy your Money is what You Actually Need

Do you have the time you need to enjoy your life? This question is not asking you about achieving your goals, I'm talking about doing, having, and enjoying what you really, really want.

Everybody has exactly twenty-four hours a day. Some people enjoy their life and yet many don't. Most work hard to earn the money they think their life needs, and then don't have the time to enjoy it.

But there are a few people who enjoy their lives even though they may have less money than you. How come?

They have the expanded context that enables them to enjoy their lives. Context is not what you do, it's where you come from - what you think about - when you decide to do what you do.

'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' has been on the world's bestseller lists for years. It's all about becoming wealthy! As a result, Robert Kiyosaki is now a world famous author and investor. His fifth book, 'Retire Young, Retire Rich', also a New York Times bestseller, says:

"it is not so much what you do that makes you rich or poor. It is more the
context surrounding what you do that makes you rich or poor."

"Once you know that the formula to getting rich is to continually expand your
reality… then getting rich becomes easier and easier. For people who become
stuck in one reality, thinking their reality is the only reality, the speed at which
they can become rich goes down."

But Why should you Listen to Me Anyway?

The first questions you probably want to ask are:
  • What are your qualifications?

  • Who are you?

  • Why should I learn from you?
What important questions to answer! I have lots and lots of painful experience of self- sabotage! Which makes me an expert!

For some of my life, my actions have got the results I was looking for but, far too often, they haven't! In fact, more often than not, the outcome has been rather far from what I originally imagined.

Okay, okay, I'll admit the truth, I've spent much of my life screwing up and sometimes the outcomes have been absolute disasters! You can see that I'm not being egotistical!

My life seems to have been a procession of attempts to produce desirable results, many of which have failed. Yet I do have a couple of saving graces. I'm prepared to take responsibility for the consequences of my actions. And I am willing to investigate the cause of a problem, to find out what didn't work, and to change next time to what might work better.

Yet which would you prefer? To make your own mistakes? Or outsource the failures to an expert?

Delegating gives you the benefits of failure without needing to suffer the consequences yourself? Could the reason why the world is in such a mess is that, in those immortal words by such luminaries as Samuel Coleridge, Georg Wilhelm Hegel, George Santayana, and George Bernard Shaw:

The only thing we learn from history is that man does NOT learn from history.

This is your chance to learn from my self-sabotage. Don't follow my example and suffer difficult circumstances which, believe me, can be very uncomfortable! Here you'll learn more rational strategies, my experiences will teach you how to produce more desirable circumstances, rather than wasting you time in making your own mistakes!

So exactly what am I talking about? Here's an example.

A Good Example of my self-sabotage - Do NOT Do This

It was a warm summer's evening, and it felt good to be with my big sister. We were walking over the hill from the railway station to my boys-only grammar school in South London.

There was a school play that Friday, and we had been told to bring our family - girls were especially welcome! She enjoyed both the play as well as the attention from my friends.

The next day we talked about her visit. Athlone Road comes before Craignair, she happened to mention. "No, it's not," I retorted with all the arrogance of youth, "First comes Craignair Road, then Athlone."

She looked at me. "I know I'm right," I insisted, "I've walked it a thousand times." This, at least, was true, I had indeed walked it many, many times. "You have to agree with me," I continued obnoxiously, "I know better than you." She didn't argue, but neither did she agree.

On Monday morning, I walked over the hill to school again. And there, to my chagrin, I saw that Athlone Road indeed came first. I was mistaken, but did I admit to my mistake?

No! Keeping quiet didn't feel right, yet nor did telling the truth. I choose not to tell her and instead choose to be right.

When she brought up the subject later in the week, I ducked. She knew she was right, and so did I. Yet I had decided that I was NOT going to give her the satisfaction of admitting that she was right and I was wrong. But did I fool either of us?

We all have a choice - to be right, or to tell the truth and be honest. You can't have both, as I found out here. There's that wonderful question; "Would you rather be right - or be happy?" Here I preferred being right! I preferred that evasive and dishonest position, "I know I'm right, so why confuse the issue with the facts?" Even though this did not feel right inside.

One of the secrets to enjoying life is feeling good inside, so avoid self-sabotage like this. How can you enjoy life when you don't feel good inside?

Do You Know What You Really Want?

Do you know what you really want? Or do you only know "Not this! Not my current reality." And would you have the time for it anyway?

Sometimes, although you may think you know, the self-sabotage mechanism can mislead you and have you thinking you want what you don't really want. Sneaky, huh!

So here's how to tell:
  • Are you happy doing what you're doing? and

  • Do you have the time for what you really want? and

  • Are you content with your life the way things are? Do you ever dream of things being different?
If you have the time to be both happy and content with your life, then you already have what you really, really want.

This suggests that a good way of recognizing self-sabotage is by asking yourself how happy you are, although there's a very good reason for using a fairly similar word instead - joy.

So if you can truly say, if you know in your heart that you:
  • Enjoy all that you're doing; and

  • Don't dream of doing more, nor of doing less;

  • Are content without anything being much different; and

  • Don't fantasize of having more time for yourself and what you really enjoy,
then you are not self-sabotaging yourself. You're achieving what you really want in life. So congratulations, there's no need to continue reading this, you're already exactly where you want to be.

Your Family Deserve More
, and So Do You
But if you do see any self-sabotage, o
r you do want more out of life, then perhaps you need to:
    • Pay off all your debt. You can stop worrying about money, and instead pay cash for the things your loved ones need and deserve.

    • Have more time, for you and your family. Why not spend more quality time with your spouse, enjoy enough time for you and your hobbies, take a dream vacation. Rush less - then you enjoy life more!

    • Decide when to work, and don't work when you don't want to work. You can choose to work a four, six, or eight hour day. Fire your boss. Enable your spouse to do the same.

    • Send your kids to college, remove the question of affordability from the decision.

    • Drive the car you choose rather than picking one you can afford. You can buy your dream car when you want a new one. Or a home, or a boat, or a vacation, or even a vacation home…

    • Stop worrying about the future, then you can enjoy the present instead.

    • Afford help where and when you need it. Delegate the work you don't want to do. At home, maids are wonderful, they make beds, clean, do the washing and ironing. They take out the trash, and even look after emptying the dish-washer…
You probably do what you think will get you the results you want, just like me. But life can be unpredictable, sometimes those results don't arrive. You sometimes even end up with the opposite. Which just tells you how much self-sabotage can be a problem!

But are there any Lingering Doubts?
Even though you may be telling yourself you are exactly where you want to be, your future happiness depends on ensuring you're not the victim of your own self-sabotage. So do you have any worries, or lingering doubts about what the future wi
ll bring? • Do you ever suffer from stress? Stress
can be a big negative which reduces your enjoyment.

• Although you may be comfortable now, do you want to feel more secure about life?

• Do you have enough time for your family and your loved ones? How about for yourself?

• Do you ever feel that you're missing out on something, although you don't know what that might be.

• Perhaps you have feelings of fear, or you worry about what the future might bring you.

• Or perhaps you simply want to enjoy yourself more, more of the time?

If you are familiar with any of these, then you are probably suffering from self-sabotage. It's far more common than you might think.

As you know, achieving success in any area invariably means you have to surmount challenges. Although the downhill path is far easier, the view from the top of the mountain is lots better than at the bottom. You have to invest time to reap time.

Stopping self-sabotage will take effort, and we're just being honest. Contrast our candidness with the promises of so many others in the personal development field who tell you, to use an analogy from a different field, that you can weigh thirty pounds less by the end of the month without any effort. Nowadays, promises such as "rapid, effortless" are starting to mislead fewer and fewer people.

To stop the self-sabotage is to think differently, is to learn to recreate your internal context. Then you have more time for what you really desire, no matter what you do. This is one of the most satisfying, most interesting challenges of all. Long-term, what could be more rewarding?</<span style="color:#0010FE;">span>

Wolves - and their connection to self-sabotage
The A
merican Indians have a very simple way to describe self-sabotage. They say that everyone is born with two wolves inside them, a white wolf and a black wolf. The black wolf is the self-sabotage mechanism, while the white wolf's job is to bring you what you really want - to be happy and enjoy your life.

You have been feeding both wolves since you were young, and the more you feed each wolf, the bigger it gets. So the strength of each wolf inside you depends on how much food you have given it so far.

The black wolf feeds on negativity. It likes you to say:
  • No

  • I can't

  • I hate this

  • I won't do that
The white wolf likes the positive. It feeds when you say:
  • Yes

  • I'm willing to take a chance

  • What have I got to lose?

  • Change always involves the unknown, so why am I afraid?

  • I know I don't know that this will help, but let me reserve judgement, I'll check it out
The important question is, ‘Which wolf do you want to become larger, stronger?’ Which is to ask, ‘Which wolf are you going to feed right now?’

If you've got this far, then you already know that self-sabotage just wastes your time. And you already know the solution. Learn how to recognize and stop the self-sabotage!

Rather Achieve the Results You Don't Yet Have

Saying just stop the self-sabotage immediately brings up a vital though little understood distinction. Contrary to popular belief, simple does not mean easy. There's no correlation between these two. Some simple things are easy, and some simple things are very difficult.
  • Stopping smoking is extremely simple. Just never do this one thing: - never ever put another cigarette in your mouth. What could be simpler? But, as millions of smokers will tell you, it's definitely not easy!

  • Staying fit is just as simple. Just work out three times a week, minimum thirty minutes cardiovascular exercise. Every week.

  • Getting rich is also simple. Spend less than you earn, every week, every month without fail. And invest the surplus, as well as the interest.
Stopping the self-sabotage is also simple, but perhaps the most difficult. Realizing this distinction stops you confusing simple with easy, which gives you more clarity and more power over your circumstances.

Maybe you don't stop because you don't know how to stop? Do you have enough personal power to stop even if you did know? Keep reading, increasing your personal power is one of the most important things you will ever learn...

Why would you want to go to the time and effort of learning how to stop the self-sabotage? It's simple, you want to stop wasting your time on what doesn't work. You want the results that doing it will bring.

Yet what sort of results will it bring you?

A Koan is not a Four-legged Animal from Australia

The problem of self-sabotage is so wide-spread that it became necessary to simplify the whole thing. We've broken down some of these ways, these different perspectives about life and how it works, into what we call koans (singular koan, pronounced: co-an, co as in co-exist, and an as in an idea). What are koans? What purpose do they serve?

At Life Strategies, we use the word koan to mean a particular perspective. A distinction. Another viewpoint. A different way of looking at an incident, a situation, or even a phrase. You may feel a surge of energy when you first understand - "get" - a koan, that's a foretaste of its increase in inner power for you.

Simply put, koans increase your understanding and hence your ability to manage your context, which means you stress less as you become more effective in running your life.

One of the first koans discussed here was the Wolves from the North American Indians. That way of looking at your internal world is a koan. So is the insight that money alone is not sufficient, you also need the time to enjoy your money. And having more time is one of the most valuable benefits to using koans.

Here's some of the value you will derive from using the koans in this very special self- sabotage book.

Self-sabotage? Why do we do it? What is it?

Now I know you wouldn't be so unaware, so lacking in understanding, that you would repeat any action which does not bring you desirable circumstances, but I don't mind admitting I've done so once or twice. Perhaps more than on a couple of occasions. :-)

We all have a self-sabotage mechanism (ssm). It works all the time, and its job is to bring you difficult, arduous circumstances, so when you do get desirable ones you can really appreciate them. To know a thing properly, you need to know its opposite.

This suggests that the ssm is not wrong, although self-sabotage does result in less than appealing circumstances. As Arianna Huffington has so brilliantly observed:

'We need to accept that… failure is not the opposite of success,
it's part of success.'

Self-sabotage is subtle. The ssm has all sorts of strategies, some of which you may recognize - perhaps even intimately (smile, big smile).

So Life Strategies teaches you how to avoid letting it run your life, so that you can run your own life instead.

Learning to master self-sabotage can be a life-long task. This may sound like something to avoid, to leave till later, but if you want more peace, more love, more calm and/or more joy in your life, learning to have more time for what does work is the only game in town.

All actions have consequences, and some consequences are more desirable than others. This is a crucial observation, although it may sound very basic if you haven't fully explored its ramifications yet.

When you learn to overcome self-sabotage, you learn to avoid actions with arduous consequences and hence give yourself more time for more desirable circumstances. So learn to think for yourself, to enjoy change, to be free of self-sabotage, and hence have more time to enjoy your life!

How to Stop your self-sabotage

Life Strategies is the twenty-first century, leading edge replacement for the common, two thousand year old, helpful yet well-worn Socratic coaching methodology. Our focus is the time to enjoy the future, since that's where you'll be spending most of your time! :-)

I'll be very frank with you. Most of the programs and techniques being taught and used today are band-aids. Why?

Because they just address the effects of the problem - rather than solving the cause. If they solved it, you'd be content with your life and your circumstances. And unsatisfactory situations wouldn't reoccur.

The problem is that the so-called "experts," their books, and their courses continue to rehash the same old techniques in various ways. Yet they pretend their approach is a "true innovation," or "foolproof directions."

But here's something you can bank on: if those tired old techniques aren't working for you now, there's no miracle that's going to make them work any better in the future. Stick with them, and you put your future at serious risk.

What's so different about Life Strategies is that over ten years, many thousands of man- hours, and hundreds of thousands of dollars have been spent to develop, test, and finely tune it into an incredibly powerful, creative, modern system that can and will change your life.

We don't believe in rehashing the past, nor do we focus on what you should or should not do this week. Our focus is simple - for you to choose what works for you! Reflect on the significant, yet little understood difference here. Very powerful!

Our mission is for you to experience more personal power so you have the time to live the life you'd love to live. Our priority is your context - where you come from when you choose what to do. You get the tools to expand your mind, a highly effective method of changing your behavior on a permanent basis. So:
  1. we don't tell you what to do,

  2. we don't fish for you,

  3. we don't hold your hand and supervise you while you fish, and

  4. we even prefer to avoid getting you to say how best you should fish.
Not surprisingly, we’ve seen life coaches, executive coaches, in fact coaches of all types just look bewildered at this last point. Most haven’t yet realized the amazing truth in that powerful observation,

‘It doesn’t matter what you do, it won’t get you where you want to be.’

At Life Strategies you learn how to catch your own fish - to run your life without wasting time on what doesn't work.

Do you need a degree or your own business to stop the self-sabotage? No! Actually, the reason why you don't already have your own business, or a degree, is often because of a shortage of time caused by self-sabotage in the first place.

So if you're not where you really want to be, this is the right place for you.

Twenty of the More Common Ways to Sabotage Yourself

There are an infinite number of ways in which you can sabotage yourself, your relationships, and your success. Here are a few of the most common, perhaps you may recognize one or two?

If your self-sabotage mechanism is functioning normally, you probably don't know much about the damage these do, let alone know how much eliminating this self-sabotage will radically improve your life. Note, children are a special case so unless specifically mentioned, we are only addressing adults here.

You generally know when something is not working for you. If you're not getting all the results you know you should be achieving, then some form of self-sabotage is probably involved somewhere along the line!
  • Acting Without Integrity
You rationalize otherwise unacceptable behavior by telling yourself that: the end justify the means. Yet Adolf Hitler in Nazi Germany championed this profoundly mistaken idea. To rationalize is to tell yourself "rational lies!"

  • Even though you know you should do something, You Don't Do It
This also includes you doing something which you already know doesn't work for you.

  • You Want More Time for yourself, Yet Decline to Do Anything Realistic about it.
You're overworked, yet you feel that you have no choice, you must do what you're doing. But that very thought is pure self-sabotage. You always have a choice, which does always have consequences.

The consequence of this particular untrue thought is severe overwork. Crucial advice: 'When you're in a hole, the first thing to do is to stop digging.'

  • Allowing Others to Run Your Life
Someone close insists that they know better than you how you should run your life so, despite your misgivings, you go along with them for the sake of peace and quiet.

  • You think, "I'm Right, So You Must Be Wrong!"
You know that you're right and therefore anyone disagreeing with you must be wrong! But this is just not thinking straight, it simply ignores their different perspective!

  • You automatically Believe Your Thoughts
You think that because a thought appears in your mind, it's your thought and so it must be true. Yet this thought itself is pure self-sabotage!

  • You Don't Keep Your Promises
You're watching the news when your young child wants to talk, so you tell her "later." But when she come back later, you still refuse her. This teaches her that lying is okay, yet you complain when she follows your example.

Even worse, you want a good relationship with her, but your broken promise tells her that the news is more important to you than she is!

  • Yes, But
This common phrase enables you to rationalize anything. Whenever you react with a reason that discounts the truth which you do indeed see in another's logic, that reaction is self-sabotage.

  • Expecting Perfection
Failure is just part of learning. FAIL stands for First Attempts In Learning.

Finding out what doesn't work is an important part of finding out what does. How can you learn what works without gaining experience of what doesn't?

  • Do As I Say, Not As I Do
You tell other people they should do something, because you think it's a Good Thing to do. Yet you are not prepared to do it yourself.

  • You Believe only Carefully Selected Evidence
You decide you already know "the truth."

To maintain your pretense of rationality to yourself, you only look at evidence which supports your view, no matter how flimsy. And you totally discount all evidence to the contrary, no matter how abundant.

  • Emotional Defending
Rather than explaining why you hold a viewpoint rationally, you heatedly defend it emotionally. But emotional defenses are frequently used because you do not see that it makes any real sense.

Maybe because you haven't yet evaluated it to see if it really is worthy of being your truth...

  • Answering a Different Question to the one Actually Asked
You change the question subtly before answering, then you think you've answered it. But you've ducked the original question. This is more easily seen in other people than in yourself.

  • Being Untruthful for the Sake Of Peace And Quiet
One client altered the word 'erotic' in a letter to avoid confrontation with her jealous partner. Yet although done innocently, does a lie ever lead to authentic long- term peace?

  • "I Don't Have The Time"
You say, "I don't have the time," and/or "I can't afford it," and/or "I'm bad at remembering names." And this is true. But how did you create this situation for yourself? It's true because you have made it true, not because it necessarily has to be true.

  • You're Not Really Fit and Healthy
You pretend you're interested in being healthy, yet you don't exercise enough. You say that exercise doesn't appeal to you, and eating and drinking in moderation is sufficient, even though you know it isn't. Laziness is indeed self-sabotage, although sooo easily rationalized!

  • Telling yourself "I'm a No-Good, Useless, Fill-In-The Blank …"
What do you say to yourself if you lose? Do you beat yourself up for not doing something correctly? Tell yourself you are a total failure? But if it doesn't feel good, how can it be motivation? Pure self-sabotage!

  • You Talk Yourself Out Of Attempting Something Desirable
You persuade yourself to pass on a desirable task. You tell yourself that it is just too difficult, or the results are not guaranteed, or you don't really want it, or that it wasn't viable anyway. …

  • You say "I'll Have Just One More Drink."
You persuade yourself, "Just one more drink can't hurt me." Even though you know that one can become several and you'll feel terrible the following morning. Why be so unkind to yourself?

  • Denying the Obvious
Although the point being made is painfully obvious, you deny it, often because your agreement might invalidate your original perspective.

Most people don't even know they sabotage themselves. But they do know they're never completely satisfied about their achievements so far, although they continue to live in hope that some day things will change...

This cutting-edge, highly effective technology is not taught in schools, universities or anywhere in the educational system.

Many coaches don't even understand how crucial it is to correct your context instead of focussing on what or what not to do. But they do know they're never completely satisfied about their achievements so far, although they continue to live in hope that some day things will change...

Our clients have exclusive access to our twenty-first century solution to this ages-old problem. And only our clients. Nowhere else will you learn how to implement hundreds of strategies all of which will improve your life forever.

As most people know all too well, the job of the ssm is to sabotage your progress. Self-sabotage can be extremely subtle; its many devious tactics include: resistance to change; being right; irritation; frustration; doubt about what you know and/or your personal inner truth; guilt; negativity; upsets, etc. etc.

Be aware. Self-sabotage can stop you even from investigating the only real solution to your problems: gaining the experience necessary to correct your lack of understanding, your context.

Only relevant experience can enable you to think for yourself, increase your awareness, investigate your beliefs and your thoughts, and to stop you wasting your time on what doesn't work!

And there's lots more...

Eight Less Tangible Benefits you'll Enjoy

You gain major advantages when you learn to overcome self-sabotage, here are just a few of the more esoteric, less tangible ones:
  • Enjoy More Freedom
Imagine being able to do what you want to do, when you want to do it!

  • Screw Up Less Often
The less you sabotage yourself, the more enjoyable life becomes.

  • Create Results with Less
Achieving what you really want becomes more achievable and less of a hassle. It takes less energy.

  • Stress Less
Worry becomes an infrequent companion. Which gives you more time and more energy for your dreams.

  • More Desirable Circumstances
You find your actions have more desirable consequences and fewer of the unanticipated, bleaker ones.

  • Learn the Rules since Life can indeed be a Game.
Learn the laws of life which govern the results you bring yourself. When you know the rules of any game, you have a big advantage over those who don't. Knowing the rules enables you to create the results you want, no matter what you want. And you also have more fun!

  • Run your Own Life
Usually, the thrill of something new soon wears off. Here you will experience the excitement of consciously running your own life. For ever!

  • Have More Time
You simply have more time to get more out of life.

Yes, But What Do I Do?

"This is all very well," I hear you saying. "Okay, I sometimes sabotage myself but - what do I do?" Good question!

There's a little-understood - yet highly effective - two step process to get you from where you are now to where you really want to be, no matter where that is:
  1. Do what works for you to achieve whatever you seek to be, do, or have.

  2. Do NOT do what doesn't work.
This is not telling you what to do, it's instead telling you to do what does work! And it's your responsibility, your job to determine what works for you!

The little understood difference between these two - telling you what to do, and suggesting you do what works - is enormous. Contemplate this impressive distinction, learn to think for yourself, and hence increase your personal power!

Now the ssm may be telling you there's not much difference between these two - which just tells you how much personal power you're missing out on.

If so, in this case say to yourself, "I know I don't know the difference between the two, but if I did know, what would it be?" Then stop thinking, and let your inner voice, your intuition tell you!
